Activities in Action
Hello from Activities!
February is a short, yet busy month. There are many things to recognize and celebrate this month. Black History, heart healthy month, Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, and the Winter Olympics in Beijing. We will have the Olympics on the tv in the front lounge for anyone to watch.
To start off the month we will have a Groundhogs Day discussion along with playing a prediction game. Residents are encouraged to participate in a new game called Name 3. Each resident will take turns rolling the dice. They will then need to name 3 items of the category they land on. We are excited to have the Ed-Co Art Club join us in and making “Bedspring Snowmen” on February 2nd at 2:00 pm. We will make many crafts associated with Valentine’s Day such as candy soda fountains and making Valentine’s to pass out to residents and staff. Later in the month we will talk about black history month and discuss hidden women of science.
