Activities are in full force. The residents continue to exercise twice a week. We also do exercise activities such as bean bag toss, ladder ball, bowling, and balloon tennis.

Pastors from our local churches have been coming again to provide our residents with church service. We are still currently unable to have additional parishioners join at this time. As soon as we can, we will let you know.

The residents decorated and made colorful tie cards for Father’s Day to pass out to all residents of the ECH community. Each card included a different saying or verse and included was a Hershey’s chocolate bar. Who could turn down chocolate, yum!

In June had a strawberry ice Cream soda social. Oh, how the residents talked and reminisced that day. One resident stated, I have not had one of these in a long time. They still taste like they did when I was a kid. How that brought a big smile to my heart to hear this.

We learned about different fish and fish terminology. The residents played a pool noodle fishing game. How fun and exciting was this.

The residents have been entertained with music by Dave Poggenklas. And to end out the month, the residents sat out on the patio and sipped sweet tea while listening to music from their generations.

Hope everyone has a great 4th of July!
