Lincolnwood Newsletter April 2020

We are now into April and what a crazy time we are in.  All we hear about is COVID-19!  The tenants here are doing well and are understanding with the changes that have had to be made with keeping this virus out of the facility.  They are enjoying the phone calls from family and friends and even the occasional visit from family and friends when they come to the window with a smile and wave!  J  I know this is not the same as having their guest come in and join them in their apartment but it keeps their spirits up.  Please continue to stay in touch and let us know if you would like to use face time, skype, etc. and we can get this set up.  I want to thank everyone for your support while we go through this change to keep everyone at the facility healthy and safe.  I know it’s not easy but I can’t say thank you enough!!

Easter is right around the corner and I hope that you can celebrate this holiday as best as you can with everything that is going on.  I wish everyone a safe and healthy holiday!

As some of you may have heard from tenants, I am resigning from the position of Lincolnwood Assisted Living Director.  My last day will be April 12.  I need a better family-work balance which is why I am making this change right now.  I want to thank everyone for their support while I have been in this position the last couple of years.  I will miss everyone here and it has been my pleasure to work with everyone I have from the staff, tenants, and family.

I hope everyone has an awesome 2020!!
