Happy Fall.  Where did the summer go?   The recent rainy weather this past month has made the season a bit unpleasant to say the least.  I am looking forward to colorful leaves and crisp fall days, with all this rain it’s a little soggy out there.   Despite the weather, we are still having fun. Last month we had a craft sale fundraiser and raised a nice amount of money to put toward a wheelchair accessible golf cart.

We went to see Doug Deshaw’s tractor collection.  It was so interesting, the residents that went asked many questions about the tractors and were very interested in the tractors.

Just a reminder… October 6th is our Annual Picnic,  we are serving chicken with all the fixings from 11:00 to 1:30 everyone is welcome to attend.

This month we are hosting the towns Halloween Party.  All the princesses, ghosts, goblins and witches are welcome to join in on the fun.

We are looking for volunteers,  if you like to paint fingernails, play games or just sit and talk we have someone that would love to meet you.  Please call me at 563-928-6461 or email me at pwille@edgewoodconvalescenthome.com
