Where has 2019 gone?  Can we really be into October already?  Halloween.  Leaves changing colors.  Weather cooling off.   And depending on what radio station you listen to, the countdown to Christmas has begun!?!?!?

With fall knocking on the door, unfortunately, flu season is tagging along.  Consent forms have been handed out to all the tenants and flu vaccinations will be administered before the end of the month.  Just a friendly reminder that if you are feeling under the weather at all, please postpone your visit to a later date.  Common symptoms of the flu are:  body aches, fever, chills, cough, fatigue, loss of appetite, sore throat, and shortness of breath.  Please take good care of yourselves with good hand hygiene, drinking plenty of fluids especially water, getting plenty of sleep, eat healthy, and protect others by staying home when you’re ill.

This month we have different activities for our tenants such as making Halloween treats, making Halloween decorations, and a bus trip to go around and look at the decorations that the community have put up.  Also, don’t forget about our monthly brunch that is on October 25 from 10:00 to 11:00.   Please RSVP so our cook knows how much food to prepare.

Thank you for all that you do for your loved ones at Lincolnwood.  Your support is very much appreciated and your visits are very much welcomed!
