From Activities

Its August already,  this summer has flown by.  August is when the apple’s get ripe and the garden harvest is plentiful. It’s time for summer squash and zucchini.  I see sweet corn for sale at roadside stands and tomatoes are getting big. School will be starting soon and we will feel a hint of fall in the air as the nights start growing longer.

Stop by our booth at the Clayton County Fair August 1st- 4th and enjoy a fresh baked cookie.  We will be baking cookies again this year.

Our Activities in August reflect August fun,  we will be shooting soda pop cans with Nerf guns, making apple crisp as a cooking activity and we hope to take a bus trip to see some antique tractors.

Just an FYI on September 11th from 11 a.m. to 3:30 pm.  We will be hosting a craft sale. The proceeds will go toward a  golf cart that is more resident friendly. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
