Brrrr.  January has sure turned in to an Iowa Winter.  I welcome February, with it being a shorter month and the days are starting to get longer.  It won’t be long and we will be looking for signs of spring and talking about garden produce and warm days of summer.  February still has fun instore this month despite what the weather brings.  For entertainment we have Miranda Beyer on the 6th, Nancy Hooten and her accordian on the 11th, Ozzie with his guitar on the 13th,  Dave on the keyboard on the 18th.  The Cross Country Band on the 21st. and the Anderson’s on the 28th.  Each bringing their own style and music for residents to enjoy.  We recently are being entertained with music by Bill Stock, he will return in March.  This month we are adding another new music duet Bruce and Sue Klett on February 8th.  Also this month we have special entertaiment with Kris Jackson’s piano students – we will be hosting a recital on the 9th.  This month we are planning some socials with making homemade soups, and ice cream social and a Valentines Day Dinner for our residents.  We are planning to hatch out some chicks again this year,  Does anyone know where we can get about 3 dozen fertile chicken eggs for our incubator.  We would like them to hatch around Easter so we need them at the end of March.  Please contact Pam at (563)928-6461.

Thank You!
