Welcome March!  Its been a very snowy month now it being March we can expect some warmer days.  My mom had a saying “early Easter early spring”.  Well Easter is in late April so I guess the Ground hog was wrong again.

This month we have some new and exciting activities in store for the residents.  We are planning a talent show on March 10th and its not to late to get signed up to share your talent.  Please talk to Sara or Pam by calling 563-928-6461.  Please join us as we hope to have a nice variety of talent from musical instrument, singing to walking on hands.  The fun starts at 2:00 p.m.

We will be having lots of delightful music this month with our usual talented entertainers and our new talented entertainers. Please check our activity calendar and come listen. We will be playing a few new games to celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day, such as Truth or Blarney and Roll the Leprechaun.

We would like to express our gratitude to the many people who help to make the lives of our residents fulfilled.  To Father John Hoagan, Pastors Roger White, Mike Jackson, Jim Rinehart and Bruce Klett thank you for keeping our Residents informed in the Lord’s word.  Thank you, Kris Jackson for playing the piano during two of the services and to Sue Klett for playing when Bruce provides church services.  Thank you to the music entertainers, Miranda Beyer, Nancy Hooten, Bruce and Sue Klett, Larry Hicks “Ozzie”, Dave Pogenklass, The Anderson family and the Anderegg Family. Thank you to the many volunteers that come weekly or when needed as extra helpers, Eleanor, Alfred, Joann, Betty, and Norma. Thank you to the volunteers who have helped with crafts, special activities of community picnic, donating items to the silent auction.  Thank you for the people you have donated garden vegetables, oysters and craft items or puzzles.
