Happy New Year!! 2020 has arrived believe it or not. With the weather the way it has been, it makes it even harder to believe that it is January!
First I would like to say, thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Christmas soup supper in December. The tenants really enjoyed it and it means so much to them when family is able to come for events like this. Thank you! Thank you for all that you do for your loved ones here!!
A reminder to all, per our state fire marshal, we are not to have power strips or multi plug outlets in our facility. This is a fire hazard. However, there is a power strip that is allowable for our facility and it can be bought online at places like Amazon. Power strips providing power to non-patient care related equipment such as lamps, TV’s, radios, etc must be relocatable power taps listed as UL 1363. Please let me know if you have questions and I can also provide a copy of the state fire marshal surge protector policy to you if you want one.
Flu season is definitely upon us. Thankfully not at the facility! J Just a reminder that if you have any symptoms of the flu (headaches, fever, sinus drainage/congestion/pressure, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, sore throat) please refrain from visiting until you are symptom free. Please and a very big thank you!!
I would like to say thank you for everyone who completed and mailed in their survey regarding the facility. Your input is very much appreciated and that’s how we make improvements by hearing input from tenants and families. Please don’t feel like this is the only time to provide feedback. If you ever have any questions, concerns/feedback, please don’t hesitate to come talk with me.
Thank you and have a very happy new year!!!
