From the Recreation Program/Activities

Hello Fall!  Its September, it’s one of my favorite times of the year.   I love fall colors and seeing the trees in full color of red, orange, yellow and brown.  Fall is busy with ending garden harvest, fall field work beginning if possible. 

 

We will be hosting a fundraiser on September 11th from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for a resident friendly golf cart.  I am hoping to raise enough money for a golf cart that holds a wheelchair and a few residents. Becky Voss is bringing 60+ crafts items on this day, she has made them and is donating the craft items to the facility, she will be selling them for us and is donating all the proceeds to our activity department to go toward the golf cart.   MARK YOUR CALENDAR!. These crafts items will make nice decorations for your home or your family members room. See the flyer of some of the actual items coming up for sale posted at the front door and on our bulletin board.  

 

Mark your calendar for our Fall Family Picnic October 6th,  we will be serving a free chicken dinner with all the fixings.  We are looking forward to seeing you.
