Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice Summer weather that has come and are staying healthy! The residents at the home are doing well and remain in quarantine for a little while longer, while we go through this “outbreak status” time. We are trying to keep everyone’s spirits up and continue to do one on one activities with residents. The staff and residents are excited about what the future holds on entering these different phases of reopen regulations! We will be in touch as soon as you can see your loved ones! We can’t wait for that day to come 😊 Due to myself starting at the beginning of COVID, many people do not know much about myself and have no idea what I look like. Many people have asked me to post something in the newsletter about myself and a picture.  My name is Brooke (Engelken) Glawe and am originally from Greeley, IA, but currently reside in Colesburg and will be moving to Guttenberg in August. I am married to Mitchell Glawe and I have a wonderful 9-year-old stepson, an almost two-year-old son, and am due with another sweet baby in September. I have been a nurse for roughly 6 years and love every minute of taking care of individuals. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hunting/fishing, four-wheeler rides, playing euchre, and anything that involves my son and stepson. I can’t wait to meet all of you in person and put a face to the people I am talking with weekly on the phone! Please reach out to us with any questions moving forward or if you are wanting an updated picture, wanting to do a video chat, or however we can help you feel closer to your loved one!
