Spring is upon us!! We are excited for the warmer temps and disappearance of snow. There are many things to look forward to this month. Daylight savings, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, and the first day of spring! Residents will be celebrating St. Patrick throughout the month as they design four leaf clovers, decorate shamrock cookies, make pot o’ gold centerpieces, watch a video on undiscovered vistas of Ireland, and have a St. Patty’s party in the afternoon on the 17th. Don’t forget to wear green!

Daylight savings is on Sunday, March 14th. Don’t forget to spring your clocks forward. The official first day of spring is Sunday, March 20th.  Residents will be playing a spring word game, planting a flower for plant a flower day on March 12th, making a flower craft, and listening to the world’s weirdest bird sounds to get in the spirit of spring beginning. Seated yoga, learning about owls, playing a quilt game, and playing bingo with Faith Formation kids via zoom are a few more activities we look forward to throughout the month!

Hope everyone has a great March filled with lots of luck!!
