Happy Thanksgiving!

This year has gone by quickly, it has been both exciting and sad.  During Thanksgiving we reflect on things for which we are thankful.  I would like to take this opportunity to share a few of them.  We are thankful for our residents, as they bring with them wisdom of age, friendships, they always have time for you.  They give us a daily reminder of why we are here and what is important each day.  We are thankful for family’s, being supportive with visits, and information for us to provide quality care for their loved one.  We are thankful for our  Administrative Assistant, Nurses, CNA’s, Dietary staff,  Environmental services, Maintenance and Activities departments.  Without these wonderful people we would not be the the team we are today.  We are thankful for Volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our facility.  We appreciate the doctor’s who do rounds each week in our facility, the pharmacies who deliver medications to us as needed, to Hospice who help support residents in need of their services and helping family with difficult situations.  We are thankful for hairdressers and barbers who help residents feel good about themselves.

There are times when we face challenges and we see dedicated and tireless individuals going above and beyond to get what needs to be done on a daily basis.

For these are thankful

I would like to wish all of you and your family a happy, healthy Thanksgiving holiday.
