Happy Fall-  It has been pretty rainy and getting colder.  I still have hope for a nice Indian Summer.   The leaves have not turned color yet but are starting to on some of the trees.   We are looking forward to some bus rides when nature turns the trees from green to all the colors of fall.

Just a reminder we will be having our Community Picnic on October 7th from 11-1:30 serving Far Fry Chicken and all the fixings.  Something new this year, the Quilting Gild is donating a lap quilt to the Home for a Silent Auction, since then more items have been added to the Silent Auction.  Watch for the items on Facebook so you know to come and bid on them.  Proceeds are going to the Convalescent Home for an upgrade on our golf cart.  We are planning to get a more resident friendly golf cart that should be a little easier for people to get in and out of.

With Halloween just around the corner, remember we will be passing out candy to all the trick or treaters on Halloween.  Please bring the little goblins, princesses and super heros to the home so residents can see them and hand out candy.

We will be having a magician coming to entertain use this month.  Check out our activity calendar for a quick look at what is planned for the month.

Hoping the rain lets up so we can have a great picnic and the farmers can get their crops out of the field.
