Kudos to the wonderful TEAM at the Edgewood Convalescent Home! You have great reason to be proud! Annually, long term care facilities in Iowa are audited by a State Survey team from the Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA). This team inspects the care, services, and regulatory compliance within nursing homes. Team members are required to show skills for cares, nursing treatments, paper compliance, food services, resident satisfaction, infection control, emergency preparedness, etc. During the week of August 23rd Edgewood Convalescent Home was surveyed for compliance by DIA. We were very pleased with the outstanding skill, knowledge, and care provided by our team members. This survey went exceptionally well.
I want to thank this TEAM for the great compassion, skill, dedication, safety, and great work that they provide to our residents. The quality care provided within this community as witness by our state survey is not something that is easily attainable. If you see one of our TEAM members, please congratulate them on a Job WELL DONE! I am proud to be a part of this great community!
